📜 RavenQuest Game Updates

While the community was still digesting the impact of Patch 1.0.8, the RavenQuest team deployed Patch 1.0.9 on May 27th, focusing on continued quality-of-life improvements and further refining systems ahead of the major 1.1.0 "mini-expansion."

🛠️ Patch 1.0.9 Highlights – QoL & Munk Utility!

👑 Renown Boosts for Munk PFPs Now Active! Your Munk NFTs now provide tangible in-game benefits, with Renown bonuses scaling up to +20% based on rarity. This directly impacts your $QUEST Fame Pool rewards. (Minting/upgrading for Munks ends June 1st – last chance!)

🌟 Automatic Lifetime Patron for Landowners! A significant perk: all Landowners now automatically receive Lifetime Patron status as long as their Land is deposited in-game.

🚶 Mobile Currency Market Munk Added! Access the Munk Shop for on-the-go trading convenience.

🔧 Refined Augmenting Refund Logic: Further adjustments were made to ensure accurate Silver and Augmenting Stone returns (following its temporary disable and re-assessment from 1.0.8 issues).

✨ UI & Backend Enhancements: Improved tooltips, clearer UI elements for guild crests, and more stable backend systems were rolled out.

🐐 Husbandry System Tweaked for Clarity

Timers for animal gathering and butchering now more accurately display maturity and cooldown windows, helping prevent confusion in managing your pens and optimizing rotations.

📈 ECONOMY & $QUEST ECOSYSTEM

🃏 RavenPacks Clarified, IMX Delays Acknowledged

A recent spike in Mythic/Legendary RavenCard pull announcements was clarified by the team as legitimate, often from power users depositing many cards into the game at once. No bugs were found in the loot pool itself.

The team also noted that depositing cards from the Website to the Game is currently contributing to these in-game pull notifications; this visual aspect will be fixed soon.

🔄 IMX Integration Issues (Resolution in Progress)

Some adventurers experienced asset transfer issues (deposits/withdrawals) due to a third-party IMX bug. The RavenQuest team acknowledged the delay and confirmed they are actively working with IMX to restore full functionality.

🏰 GUILDS, WAR & COMPETITION

MMR Calibrates! No major shifts to the Guild War system itself were announced this week following the 1.0.8 overhaul. However, the new MMR-based Fame scaling for Warbands remains in place and continues to calibrate week-over-week, building competitive stakes.

🎭 COMMUNITY & CULTURE

🎁 $30 in RavenPacks – Login Outage Compensation

On May 27th, a login issue affected 182 Adventurers overnight. The dev team swiftly issued $30 in RavenPacks to each affected player as compensation – a strong gesture reinforcing trust.

🧪 Minor Visual Bugs Acknowledged

A client-side display error caused some unreleased herb assets to appear in crafting menus. The team confirmed these aren't usable and are already being patched out in an upcoming update.

🔮 LOOKING AHEAD

⚔️ Patch 1.1.0 – The "Mini-Expansion" Grows!

While no new specific teasers dropped this week, dev messaging continues to emphasize that Patch 1.1.0 is evolving into a full-blown mini-expansion.

💬 Guild Roundtable Recap

The seventh Guilds Roundtable, and our Second hosted in the new official RavenQuest Discord Stage, brought together a fantastic panel including Mrs369FAM, Shavvir, Valdiz, Vetronix, Eliph, 64World and our RavenQuest.tools host Jyrmz. The discussion was rich, covering the impact of recent patches and broader concerns about game systems and communication.

The VOD for this Roundtable will be available on the new gg.tools YouTube channel

Key Discussion Anchors & Direct Insights:

⚔️ Guild War System MMR & Fame Scaling

Following the first MMR-based Guild Wars, guilds shared their initial experiences. While everyone agreed the system needs time to calibrate, the potential for fairer matchups was clear. The scaled Fame rewards (with winners reportedly receiving 15,000 Fame) and the fact that MMR now directly affects future reward size add considerable weight to performance. A key question raised was whether MMR's influence should extend beyond just rewards to things like official leaderboard status or unique visual prestige for top-ranking Warbands.

🤔 Open Data – Transparency vs. Meta-Manipulation?

This was a major and passionate topic. Shavvir kicked it off by noting unusual patterns in the $QUEST/Silver exchange rate: "What I noticed, while servers are busy, 17k-ish silver per quest, 20 minutes later if server goes quiet then all of a sudden it's back up to 20k." This sparked speculation about potential backend market stabilization.

Vetronix brought historical context: "You need to understand that since Ravendown... over a year and a half ago now. We still don't know what are the drop rates for all the Creature products. And you want the transparency on the blockchain, yeah?" He later added, "It's something that the community has been asking for for a very long time... I also would like to know what is the actual drop rate of the, for example, trophies."

Eliph (from transcript context, though not a direct quote here) pointed out that more on-chain transparency could help identify suspicious activity.

The desire for more frequent developer AMAs to address these data, drop rate, and mechanic questions was strongly voiced by several participants. As Vetronix put it, "It would be nice to hear someone talk about it other than us with some solid info, not just an assumption of what we would like to see and have."

Pro-Tips & Final Thoughts from the Roundtable:

Jyrmz's Sage Advice for New Players: "Always check your dailies [Adventure Board] first thing... because it could very well align with something you want to do in the game that day." He also stressed: "Look at the journals. The journals are critical to like unlocking a lot of really important things in the game."

Vetronix's Market Tip: With a knowing tone, he advised, "Start buying Infusions because they're only going to go up." (Always remember, seasoned player observations, not financial advice!)

A Path for Community Impact: The idea of RavenQuest.tools summarizing key Roundtable feedback to share directly with the dev team received enthusiastic support. Mrs369FAM encapsulated the sentiment: "If you guys are passionate about certain things that you guys want to see in the game, I feel like... you guys sharing your thoughts here, honestly, and then putting it in a summary, giving it to the team... I think that's beneficial for everybody." Jyrmz confirmed this was a planned initiative.

✅ Conclusion:

Week 11 was a vibrant tapestry of refinement, community celebration, and eager anticipation in RavenQuest. Patch 1.0.9 delivered key quality-of-life improvements, particularly the Munk Renown bonuses and Landowner Patron status, smoothing out daily play. On the RavenQuest.tools front, the launch of our Interactive Map and Database Pages marks a massive step forward in empowering players with information and utility.

The community truly shined this week with epic, player-hosted events like 64World's Kick Takeover and LC Nova's Duel Night, proving the player base is passionate and ready to create their own excitement. The Guild Roundtable's successful debut on the official RavenQuest Discord stage further solidified it as a vital conduit for high-level discussion and feedback on everything from MMR balancing to the profound questions surrounding RavenQuest's transparency and tokenomics.

While the team navigates IMX hiccups and fine-tunes the economy, all eyes are increasingly fixed on the looming Patch 1.1.0 "mini-expansion" and the Epic Games launch. The promise of new Archetypes, weapons, PvP leagues, and expanded $QUEST utility has the entire realm buzzing. The message is clear: RavenQuest is building, listening, and preparing for its next great leap. 🕯️

See you next week, Adventurers! 👋
